A crane and trusses

Notice the horizontal and diagonal bracing nailed to the tops of the trusses and the diagonal wall bracing on the first and second floor walls. All temporary bracing should remain in place until all framing, including the roof is complete. Most houses are engineered to be self supporting as a complete structure. Partially completed framing does not provide the strength and unity needed to acheive the final design strength. The Tyvek® house wrap still needs to have the seams taped to be most effective.
