Backyard Playhouse Plans - These play house plans feature a private elevated clubhouse, a small deck, and space for a slide, a swing, and a sandbox. Build it in the woods or close to a large tree and your kids will call it a tree house, only it easier to build and closer to the ground than a typical treehouse, so it should be safer for your kids to play in. This plan package includes step-by-step instructions, full-color photos, expanded detailed views, materials list and cutting diagram.

If you build this playhouse, unlike it appears in the photo, we STRONGLY suggest that you extend the "fall zone" beyond the perimeter of any object on which children can climb. Pea gravel is our favorite surface, but wood chips or mulch also work better than sand.
